During surfing lessons at the Surf School El Cotillo, students can expect comprehensive and effective instruction, which is divided into a theoretical part and a practical session in the water. The theoretical part lasts 30 minutes and covers essential information on proper surfing techniques, safety measures, and other key aspects. Instructors focus on the individual needs and skill levels of each student to ensure the best understanding and preparation before entering the water.
Following this, there are 2 hours of practical exercises in the water, where students can apply the techniques they’ve learned and improve their surfing skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Their advice and support with every attempt help students feel comfortable and develop their skills as efficiently as possible.
Overall, the combination of theoretical learning and practical training during the surfing lessons at Surf School El Cotillo is an excellent way to learn to surf more quickly and effectively, gaining the confidence and skills needed to enjoy the joy and freedom of surfing on the sea.
Lessons are available in Czech, Slovak, English, and Spanish, and are suitable for swimmers from 7 years old.
The price includes transfers from El Cotillo to the beach and back, surf equipment, wetsuit, snacks, and water.
We are located in the authentic fishing village of El Cotillo on the northern part of Fuerteventura, just 100 km from Africa, in the heart of the Atlantic Ocean. With water temperatures above 20°C and 150 km of sandy beaches, this place is perfect for year-round surfing in the Canary Islands.
